New Delhi [India], December 3 (ANI): Former Law Minister Ashwani Kumar on Sunday said that BJP's victory in three states including Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh is the victory of the charismatic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi because BJP has contested assembly elections in his name in all states and won in three states.

Speaking to ANI Ashwani Kumar said, "People have directly given three indications to the country. One is that even today the common people have faith in the leadership of the Prime Minister, no matter how much propaganda has been done against him. Secondly, this is the victory of charismatic leadership in democracy. BJP contested elections in the name of Narendra Modi ji in all three states and won.""I think that the general public places their trust in Prime Minister Narendra Modi, although many people have ideological differences with him. I also believe that the ideology of Congress is in the interest of the country, but the feeling of the country has changed. People believe in the personal ability and skills of Narendra Modi. Unless this thing changes, it will be difficult for the opposition," Kumar told ANI.

Hitting out at the Congress, Kumar said that the grand old party is not deciding the narrative of the country. Just talking about food, clothing and shelter (Roti, Kapda, Makaan) will not help unless there is a fight on the basic fundamental issues.

"Narendra Modi ji is praised in the country. I think the Congress party should think about its working style. They have done well in Telangana. There BJP was not in the fight. It should be accepted that the overall mandate is for the BJP in four states. It is a sign of huge victory", he addedSeven hours into the counting of votes for Assembly polls in four states, the BJP is comfortably leading in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh. The Congress is ahead in Telangana, its sole consolation in this round of state polls. (ANI)
