ISLAMABAD, Pakistan - Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa has called a Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) meeting for November 20 to look into the complaints against Justices Sayyed Mazahir Ali Akbar Naqvi and Sardar Tariq Masood.

Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa will preside over the meeting, which will look into the complaints that have been filed.

Furthermore, the SJC will look into the objections raised by Justice Sayyed Mazahir Ali Akbar Naqvi to Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa, Justice Sardar Tariq Masood, and Justice Naeem Afghan hearing the complaints against them and seek their recusal from the SJC.

Justice Naqvi recently filed his preliminary response to the Supreme Judicial Council's show cause notice, in which he objected to the participation of three members of the Judicial Commission, including Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa, Justice Sardar Tariq Masood, and Justice Naeem Afghan, and sought their recusal on "bias" and other grounds.

According to Justice Naqvi, the proceedings against him for misconduct are politically motivated and lack legality, decency, and transparency.
